80 concerts in Spain, Latin America the United States of America with more than a million spectators .The tour visited emblematic venues as Madison Square Garden in New York, Estadio Velez in Argentine, Auditoria Nacional in Mexico, Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona and Plaza de Toros de Las Ventas in Madrid.
Review:British designer Adrian Smith created the stage backdrops, coming up with “a stage concept with no major structures, where the scene is transformed into different spaces through the use of visual projections.”
Spanish superstar Alejandro Sanz is generating rave reviews with his smash NO ES LO MISMO TOUR 2004, one of the largest Spanish-language tours of the year in the United States. Sanz, who hit # 2 on Billboard’s Boxscore Concert Grosses this week, kicked off his U.S. concert dates last month, charming sold out audiences in cities including Miami, Washington D.C., New York, Boston, Chicago, and Dallas. Latin American audiences totaled 300,000, and by the end of the tour, he will have played for more than one million people.

Sanz is on the road behind his latest album, “No Es Lo Mismo,” which is his first new set in nearly three years. According to a press release, the album has sold nearly 2 million copies to date. More than a dozen back-up musicians from various countries– including the U.S., Cuba and Spain– will join Sanz on the tour. Keyboardist Albert Menendez will serve as the tour’s musical director.
